I use Stik 'n Seal which is a waterproof adhesive, and it seems to work well
as I've used it on my D1h and D1x. Now the problem - I think this glue is
the reason my cameras have set off the explosives tests at airports now
twice. Nothing like that big red "explosive" screen coming up on the
machine. After a minutes I'm allowed to pass.

I have noticed some Ebay auctions selling replacement rubber which seems to
be factory material.
