Subject: [Leica] Re: Lee Harvey Oswald

I was bed-ridden through the year 1977-1978 (the year of the House
Subcommittee on the assassination), and I read about 20 books on the
subject. Many were still in print from the 1960's. I came away from it
thinking that the investigation was so badly flawed and the Warren
Commission so incredibly one-minded (they didn't want the truth, they wanted
to find that Oswald acted alone and therefore ignored everyone else), I knew
that we would never really know the truth. I recently saw a documentary with
some work done in Australia on the ballistics of the wound entry, etc., that
showed pretty conclusively that Oswald's gun could have done the magic
bullet.

But was it a conspiracy? I sure think so. Read Norman Mailer's "Oswald's
Tale". He makes a pretty good argument for Jack Ruby being forced by the
Mafia to kill the patsy before he talked.
