Vuescan will produce a "raw" scan, in the sense of an unprocessed image from 
the sensors. You can then keep that as a master and
reprocess multiple ways, as desired.
Anyone photographing Walt working raw is welcome to keep the photos OFF the 
LUG. Not sure we could cope with the results.

Which of course begs the question: can you get RAW out of the  
scanner: I know the RAW converter in Lightroom will "adjust" tiff  
images, and I saw a DNG conversion in one of the menus. That way Walt  
could also keep his cool(scan) go RAW and get a nice tan.
