Subject: [Leica] Jeffery PAW - 34 - Using the new 50/1.5 Sonnar

Most of the lighting in the middle of the room was from the blinding track
lighting on the photos. I don't mind the low contrast here...it set the mood
accurately. Other frames on the same roll that got direct lighting were
correctly exposed. But this was with an M7, and I have been less happy with
its metering than with previous M6's.

You've got to boost your developer. When shooting in low contrast  
environments, your contrast controls are with the developer. Trying a  
save while printing, just looks like a save while printing. AA used  
to stress single grade papers for a reason. It showed that a person  
knew what they were doing.
