G'day Hoppy,
I use a "matching" collapsing summicron on my M3, often with the external
50 viewfinder. Compact (sort of) quiet and a joy to use, and the slight
softeness of the lens matches b/w film perfectly. I also have a similar
period DR summicron, which performs a bit more like a modern lens, and
although I love the results, the older collapsible lens does "fit" the
camera.
