I have a fairly recent MacBook Pro 15" system with an Intel chip.  It has 
one slot for external cards, which is an ExpressCard 34 slot, which is not 
the same as the old PC card slots.  You will need to check if your wireless 
provider has an ExpressCard 34 version of their card.
