What out LUG-friends might not realise is how packed with vitamins Vegemite is. Being the reason we feed it to our kids. The Vegemite symbol is our alternative flag. Our military uses it to smoke out spies (only true Aussies can eat it!). Jars of Vegemite are a form of currency amongst Aussie expat communities. It can be used as a wound dressing, vehicle lubricant, edible body paint and as a light-leak sealer (on topic!) :-D My wife just said, "Vegemite is good for you" to our 5YO daughter, without knowing I was writing this. It's part of our culture. We're happy little Vegemites, as bright as bright can be We all enjoy our Vegemite, for breakfast lunch and tea Our mothers say we're growing stronger every single week Because we love our Vegemite, we all adore our Vegemite It puts a rose in every cheek!
