Yes, the thing is big and heavy, and the battery is part of the reason, but...I get between 1200 and 1500 images per battery charge. I don't chimp much, really only if someone around me wants to see a picture I just took, but I do have the 3-second review on so that I can quickly glance at the histogram if I am so inclined. It is really amazing. Even last winter in Poland, when I spent a lot of time walking around in freezing temperatures with the camera around my neck, I got well over 1000 shots before having to recharge. I do usually carry a spare, charged battery in my bag, but frankly I am not sure why... Nathan David Young wrote: > How do you do this, Eric?
