Subject: [Leica] New Leica 28mm 2.8 ASPH lens

Frank, it would make sense in the range, although it would have to be
noticeably cheaper than the f2 lens. The trend seems to be to progressively
asph the range and retire the older models. Good for the ultimate quality,
bad for the wallet!

I suppose that this lens would become the equivalent of the 35 (on the
current M's)

If it gets close to the f2 28 asph, it will be a dang fine optic!

Cheers

I thought the ASPH Summicron a bit too $$$ for me. But maybe, with some
luck, this little gem is priced in my range....

I assume it is pretty tiny and light.....it looks small.

Or is it more PS magic?
