I'm sure they'll be fine.  As I tell the people worried about going 
on mission trips, it's probably more dangerous to go to downtown 
Charlotte at night than to Honduras.

This year in Guatemala might be different, though.  In more than 20 
years, we've never had a problem.  Last week we sent a bank draft for 
$3000 down ahead of time so the doctor in Guatemala could buy 
medicines there.  We have always done that with no problems.  This 
year the courier coming back from the bank with cash was stopped by 3 
armed gunmen who stole all of the medicine money.  It concerns me 
because somebody had to know that he was carrying that much 
money.  I'll be more than a little nervous this trip.
