Subject: [Leica] OT: Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway - share your thoughts?

The Skyline Drive (Shennandoah Ntl Park) is spectactuar but you will 
have to deal with the crowds.  Its not to be missed though.  There are 
plenty of overlooks.  Just pull off when the mood strikes you.  The 
parkway is different, but still nice.  Its hard to pass on either road 
so traffic will limit how fast you can drive.  Of course with a 'vette 
anything is possible :)

Some of my favorite places are to the west of there on Rt 250, but they 
aren't really on the way to anywhere.  I can send details if you are 
interested.
