You're quite right, of course.  Photography has always been cabable of being 
used to twist the truth;  it's just a bit easier now.   And I absolutely 
agree 
that changing the sky color for visual impact - even assuming he was 
untruthful about just trying to restore the true color - is much less of a 
threat to 
journalistic integrity than stuff, photos and otherwise, that gets printed 
every day in the mainstream media.
