Christopher,
You can do that if you wish but I really can't imagine it will worry Canon 
one iota.
Its too expensive, not full frame, yesterday's technology, takes old 
fashioned (1928) lenses if you want it to.
Nah, its not worth the trouble, they won't be bothered at all.
