You could use Nikon, Pentax, Exacta, Viso, and LTM lenses. I think Minolta also but not sure. So if you can track down one of these adapters then you can use some pretty interesting lenses on some very good Canon bodies. At one time, Stephen Gandy indicated that he could acquire Exacta to EOS adapters if you didn't mind some not quite infinity focus. This wouldn't really be an issue with either wide angles or a portrait lens.
