There is a web site called Unblinking eye that has a bit of information on
that site. Fred De Van gushes over 777. See the link below. For some reason
my mail server won't make it a link.

I looked into that developer as well. However, I was not sure how many
rolls were needed to break in the developer. I had the same questions about
agitation. There were 2 strikes right there. Add to that, the fact that you
had to replenish. 3 strikes. That became far to complicated for me to
consider in my little dark room.
Your best bet is probably emailing the guy at Frugal photographer and
asking him for some guidance. He seems like a friendly guy and it is one of
a few developers that he sells on-line, chances are that he has some
experience with it. 
Hopefully this was not too redundant. If you figure this out, let me know,
I would not mind trying 777.
