Jeffery Smith New Orleans, LA http://www.400tx.com -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+jsmith342=cox.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+jsmith342=cox.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Richard Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 7:54 PM To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] F%#^$@#K The good news is that we went to Costume Con, the premiere annual amateur SF&F and Historical costuming competitions and events and my wife's group won Best in Show Workmanship and Best in Class (Master level) Presentation in the SF&F Masquerade. The really bad news is that I left the camera case with the Powerbook, the Epson R-D1 and couple Leica lens in the parking garage. We had a 5 hours wait-on-the-tarmac episode in O'Hare and then a 4 hour flight so both my wife and I were overtire and sleepy and weren't as careful as we normally are. Unless there is a miracle, that $9K is down the drain. It should be covered by insurance with a $2500 deductible and the only pictures I lost are the one from this convention.
