Subject: [Leica] Any Sensia shooting here on the LUG?
From: scott at adrenaline.com (Scott McLoughlin)

So, on my rather long hiatus from souping my own B&W film,
I've been running through various color and slide film in my
fridge: XP2, NPH, some Velvia 50, a little Provia 100.

So now I need to order some new film.

Never having shot slides much before, I'm kinda getting a kick out
of that, so I'm thinking of trying out some Fuji Sensia 100. From
what I read it has a relatively new fine grain emulsion and less
saturated colors akin to Astia. Finally, the imported price is
right from B&H, and Fuji processing mailers are less than $5.

Any Sensi (or maybe Astia) shooters here on the list that can give
some feedback on strengths/weaknesses of this slide film?

How long might Sensia last in dark storage (like an archive box)?

Any scanning experience with this film?

Thanks much!

Scott

p.s. I found my little Sekonic meter! At a neighbors, and I have
no idea how it got there. Yipee, saves me $150 on a new DigiSix.
