Joseph,
         Your question is an interesting one.  I do not have a Geiger 
counter, but might be able to find one.  Looking through the lens at a 
white surface and comparing it to my DR Summicron, does suggest that there 
is a slightly yellow cast.  The photo in the hanger also seems to have a 
slightly yellow cast, I do not seem to be color blind, but just ignored 
it.  These findings suggest to me that it is a "hot" lens.  Perhaps I will 
only take B&W photos with it.  Who knows, it may even photograph clouds 
better.  Thanks for looking and commenting.
