Joseph / Singapore -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+joelct=singnet.com.sg@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+joelct=singnet.com.sg@leica-users.org]On Behalf Of lkhermann Sent: Wednesday, May 24, 2006 10:42 AM To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] 50 mm lenses Dear LUG, The recent discussion of what was the best 50 mm lens almost prompted to comment that I thought that the 50 ASPH Summulux was the best and that since I bought it my 50 Summicron, 4th, has sat on the shelf. This contented state was compromised when I wandered into a used camera shop and saw a screw mount collapsible Summicron. If the truth is known, I have lusted for one for 50 years. You can guess, I bought it. The attached photo is one of the first trials. It was on a IIIf. It was shot in a hanger as you might guess. So far I am delighted and my wife only said that's nice.
