And I agree that the less attractive "nickel" covers are less likely to unscrew. Do NOT do this. The back contact of the battery flows through the cap to the body.... ( Negative or positive, I forget). A good tape job will prevent the battery voltage from reaching the electronics. Get the cap with the "screwdriver" slot. Check frequently.
