I use to have one which I used on my M3. It's a heavy
lens, and well built. I shot with it for about a year
in alaska. I had a CLA done on it, which is always a
good idea on these old lenses $75. It's a very compact
lens compared to the summilux. It uses less glass, so
in 50's it was less prone to flare. It's a sonnar type
lens, so good contrast wide open, but some curvature
of field with landscape shots. To be honest with you,
I never really notice this, but all the literature I
have read suggests this to be the case. I shot HP5
with it, hand held shots, street stuff, low lighting.
Check out "Dante Stella" on google. He has a nice
write up on it.
