It might be difficult to make an accurate assessment between the lenses 
(Nikkor, Leitz) without seeing both used in the same situations. Jake's 
wonderful portrait of his friend speaks highly of the 75mm. The other 
one I've listed speaks highly of his 50mm. Actually, we might be 
confusing lens choice with a sensitive eye and that might be what it is 
all about.
