Ted,

Firstly, when you read this, I hope you've had a very good night's  
sleep bringing you all the comfort you deserve and seemed to need  
when I was reading this.
Secondly: you still have digital. And you should continue to use it.  
Because in my (maybe juvenile) opinion, it could yet add another new  
layer to your already so great photographical work.
It isn't hard. On the contrary. It's just different.
If you ever need some explanation about all this "new" Photoshop  
stuff (making darkroom work even more fun and rewarding as when it  
was still wet, and believe me, I loved the wet darkroom), drop me a  
line.
I can only dream that I'll be able to pass you as many good and  
practical pointers as you have passed (and I wish will continue) to  
us all.
Truly looking forward to your newest work,

P.S. When ever I reach your age, I hope I still can claw the way you  
do. Man, what a mighty roar you have!
