My first camera was a Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL with the 50 f2, bought
from a pawnshop in Columbus GA for $50 in about 1970. The troops
returning to Fort Benning from their little SE Asian trip brought
back a lot of Pentaxes and Nikons and pawned them as well but they
cost too much for a high school kid- maybe $100-150 with lens.

I still have fond memories of that camera, but it was LOUD.
