Subject: [Leica] RE: Paterson reels anyone?

Samigon reels are about the same in design (and fit in Paterson tanks) but
they have a HUGE loading ramp instead of a little bitty tab on each side.
Whoever invented the Samigon plastic reel has my vote for Nobel prize in
engineering. ;-)

Man, I hate 'em too.

I pitched a MAJOR fit some months ago and smashed one of the large Paterson
tanks and numerous reels in a "rit of felious jage" in fury at how
impossible it was to load some 220 film. Fortunately I didn't really care
about the film because it was lost too.

Dave.
