Scary,

I wasn't arrested yesterday in the London underground but I was told I
couldn't make any pictures.
It seems that they are afraid that people photograph places in which
they can hide explosives. It was a friendly guy so no offense taken.
At the airport my camera bag was searched. I lost half a roll of film
because they wanted to see the inside of my rolleicord. There used to be
a day that the English policemen didn't wear weapons. At the airport
they now carry a big automatic weapon and a handgun.
In Paris at the Eiffel tower you can see armed army men to protect the
people.
It is getting a scary world indeed.

Kind regards,

Michiel Fokkema
