You might want to take a look at San Disk Ultra II with the flip up USB tab
- around $80 at office depot for a 1 gig card.  The beauty is that you just
plug the card into your USB port with no need for adapters.  Really slick.

having had way too much experience cobbling computers and software together
from castoffs near the trailing edge of technology I've successfully gotten
the pics copied to my computer after a quick visit to Circuit City ($15 card
reader). 

I've sent the pics of the R8 to the prospective buyer, if these pictures
don't convince him nothing will.
