Alastair, I conclude that you are working with the full version of  
CS2, which includes the full version of Acrobat ................. and  
that is what you are using to pri try to print?

The files in question are PDFs, I presume .................. to save  
time and trouble, why not just download the reader version and print  
from that. You can review the situation when you return.

If you try this, it would perhaps be prudent to rename/erase your  
full version of Acrobat first.

And if all else fails, go to the source:
