Adam, If you are only making 35mm negatives there is no contest. Buy an 
autofocus Leica V35 with Leica's excellent 40mm Focotar lens. For a slightly 
better lens buy the current 40mm APO Schneider. Check the archives for a 
comparison I did a few years back.
