their certain demise like "lemmings to the sea" but Leica survived because
they stuck to a high quality product in a niche market?

Kodak's major hope is the continuing success of their kiosk business. For
them the ribbon and paper is just like the old film business; a profitable
razor blade sort of arrangement.
