Peter, I drove a 57 100-6 Healey in 1957 - 1959. I was 17-19 yrs old. My Dad
bought it and then bought a Jag XK 150 Coupe. The Healey defaulted to me my
senior year of H.S and first year of college. What a time! Too bad I threw a
rod over-revving that old truck engine. Then my Mom's old '53 Ford wagon
became my college car.

The 100-6 muffler was so low I had to get it welded at least once a month.
Best sports car sound ever! The c.g. was so low I wore out a set of tires in
six months drifting up Chevy Chase Canyon in L.A. Great memories.
