I have been carrying the small Leica tripod (14100) with my gear for  
years, but, I find it too slow to set -up. Instead I just use a  
chamois, I always carry to wrap my Leica in, underneath and lay the  
camera on a wall, lamp-post .......... whatever. It mostly works well.
