Well, for those of us who use predominately Canon EOS for our SLR choice
this will allow an interesting arbitrage. Assuming the optics the same,
will the old Contax mount lenses be cheaper or more expensive than the new
Zeiss offerings for the F mount. I have adapters for both systems to EOS
and the only reason to use these lenses is near maximum aperture so focus
etc. is no big deal.

Also, it allows the final vetting of that age old testers question; which is
the best lens? Using adapters, the camera and capture will remain the same
so no questions about vibration, focus point, fine exposure issues, and
whatever carping about minor differences.
