I agree with your comments about the D100. I used it for a
Royal visit this year and I
was the official photog. I use it on large fine files and the
pictures that were published all
over Europe looked great. Sharp detailed images. Reminded me of using
Leica film cameras
like I used too. As for the shutter-- Nikon says they are only good
for a certain number of shots
and I reached it!!
