Robert,
The pro bodies are very well sealed so that a photogapher can go into almost
any terrestrial environment and take pictures.  Rain, cold, heat, sand,
dust, and salt spray are well protected against.  This would include the
heat/cool cycle that would occur in Amsterdam or going from an A/C
environment into the heat/humid environment found in semi and tropical
environments.  Perfect, no, but very effective tools that require not much
loving care to keep functioning.
