Didier (and Luis), thanks. No it was the haze that made the background
lighter. All I did in Photoshop was adjust the levels and convert it to
b&w using the Fred Miranda plug-in.

This is a very well-balanced composition. Noce tonality. A brillant shot
at all. 
Is it the haze that makes the background lighter or did you work this
out in photoshop? Thanks for showing Didier
