Subject: [Leica] Metering on Canon DSLR with Leica R Lens

Hi Lee,
the problem is in the camera software, Canon DSLR cameras correct the 
exposure when using EF and EF-S lenses according to focal length (I 
think) and aperture (pretty certain). Of course this doesn't work with 
Leica lenses.
