So this week we start with portraits of all four of us. First, SWMBO: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43.jpg (I am quite pleased with this one, since I took it with the 50mm Summilux at close range--the new focusing screen in my 1D2 certainly helps when using Leica lenses). Then, my son--we went to check out a newly opened pub in our town on Thursday night: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt1.jpg My daughter, drinking hot chocolate at a hotel in Hilversum. It is near her school, and I sometimes take her there if we arrive at the school too early: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt2.jpg And then a self-portrait, taken in the bar of the same hotel (you have to look at bit...): http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt3.jpg Now to other people. A couple of additions to my bicycle series, taken in or near the Cuyp market in Amsterdam: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt4.jpg http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt5.jpg The Binnenhof in The Hague, the seat of the Dutch government. I was walking around there last Sunday when the heavens opened up. What you think is flare is a combination of rain in the air and on the lens: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt6.jpg The last two are from the town of Zaltbommel, along my route to work. I stopped in there Thursday morning--I was running early and it was a nice day to go for a walk. A customer waits for the pet shop to open: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt7.jpg A mother teaches her little daughter how to handle money: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2005/2005_43alt8.jpg The complete PAW index is at: http://www.nathanfoto.com/indexpaw2005.html and comments/critique are as always welcome and appreciated.
