Subject: [Leica] Legendary SLR lenses in 90 to 100mm range?

Hi Vick,

I have heard that there had been 10 Best 35mm lenses in its history 7 or 8
of which were Leica lenses, mostly R lenses. I now old enough to forget
which source it was. The 100/2.8 APO-Macro was definitely one of them. Has
anyone else heard about the 10 Best lenses. I would say the 100 APO is the
very criterion by which every lens could go. I am glad that I am one of the
R users on LUG.

Best Regards,
David

I've heard the 100mm f2.8 APO is stunning.

I assume the 90mm ASPH in R mount is similarly stunning.

Do you have reports/anecdotes support or disputing the above, or other
recommendations?

How about the 80/1.4?

Regards,

Vick Ko
