The problem is intermitent but it affects about half of the roll. It is more evident on bright pictures ( I will post more tonight). I have used 2 labs, a pro lab and a semi-pro lab. Variables; * Film is old Kodak Portra and not necesarily recently fridged. * I used the following shutter speeds, 200, 500 and 1000. * Two lenses used a 5cm and a new Voigtlander 35mm. The streaks show on the negative. The thing that makes me suspect the shutter or curtain is that the streaks are not present between frames, just on the images themselves. On the last roll there were frames that had half of the frame black and the other half streaked or normal (landscape orientation). I tried to check a patern on the roll but there is none. Sometimes it hapens to one frame and sometimes to a set of 5 to 6 frames before being normal. I will try the air trick tonight. The photo was taken in Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. It is El Morro fort built by the spaniards. It is a trail that goes around the edge of the fort, actualy, the whole city is a fortified wall. peace D.
