For those of you who may be curious about the Jupiter-8, I've posted a few images from my first two rolls with this Russian gem. Cameras were a IIIc and an M6. All shots made on Fuji Superia 400 from W*ll-mart and processed and scanned by Fuji Frontier at W*llgreens. The 2 b/w images are Picasa conversions. Very little post-processing and no USM except what might have been applied during the scans (out of my control). The first b/w image shows the test for focusing accuracy using a measuring stick at f/2 and one meter. Focus should be on the 30 inch mark. The 2nd b/w shot is yours truly, showing the lens on my IIIc. I tried to include some shots that demonstrated focusing at fairly close ranges and wide apertures. Most of the indoor stuff is at f/2-2.8. So far I'm really happy with this little feller, which I got for $20 plus postage from Russia. Comments are welcome.
