I think you're right, Steve. Erwin, who can become rhapsodic about
things Leica, was luke-warm. The executive summary might be "mediocre
idea, moderately-well executed". Or, more to the point: too little,
too late.

Now some of that Leica glass with auto-diaphram for Canon (or Nikon)
and they might find a premium market. It's already good using
stop-down metering but I admit I'd like the auto-diaphram.
