I realize that the background is cluttered but was there an angle that would show that he was a barber without all the clutter? Not really a gripe, just a comment on visual cues to place the person. Also a question, if you were able to shoot a 1/400, why didn't you drop the ISO to 400 and shoot a 1/100. Should be plenty of speed to hand hold a 70mm and the tones would have been smoother. Artistically, I wanted to see really clean smooth tones. Of course, you could have been looking to create the grain effect on purpose which is why I pose the question.
