A side note to this discussion. :-)

Given I've been shooting so much with the 20D and Leica glass I forgot how 
beautiful it is to focus on the R8 screen. :-)

My first re-action was... "WOW!! I forgot how big and bright it really is!" 
:-) Now I realize just how hard I've worked making sure the 20D + Leica 
manual lenses so they're crispy sharp.

However, I've only had a few focus miscues using the Leicanon and R glass 
but when they're right on they are crispy bacon sharp! :-)

My favourite Leica lens on the 20D?  The 80-200 f 4.0! Yep, man it gives 
great separation and the sharpie parts are so sharp you can almost cut your 
finger getting the card out of the camera. ;-) Well OK use yer imagination.
