Better for flare ... there you said the magic words, Don.

My Elmar is just fine, but it's an older uncoated version. I hear the
coated Elmars are more flare resistent.

Looking at the 1.5 lenses now ... I didn't realize they made them in
screw-mounts. For some reason or another I was assuming they were only
a Contax/Kiev mount.
