[Leica] Leica M3 -- all or nothing

Thought I had committed all possible offenses against film but this is a new 
one on me.

I did have an R body that would periodically, for no apparent reason at all, 
unlatch the back.  My experience was like Feli's -- if quickly shut, most of 
the roll came out OK, protected by the opaque outer portion of the roll.   
Afterswift's report notwithstanding, that would appear to be essentially 
impossible with an M, at least without some human contribution.
