Both would rate at least Ex+ on the most conservative scale and I think almost everyone would grade these as Mint - (you make your own judgment based on the pictures). Both show only the lightest signs of use and are in perfect working order. The shutter speeds, including the slow speeds, sound fine (though I haven't got a machine to test them on). The shutter has the usual Canon wrinkle, which does not affect its function in any way that I can see. The rangefinder is in correct adjustment vertically and horizontally. This camera would be a great user or a potential collector. The lens is bright and clear with no fog or haze internally, and the focusing helicoid is extremely smooth with just the right amount of resistance. I can't see any scratches or cleaning marks on the glass with an unaided eye, although it is possible that you could find some on a lens of this age with a loupe. I can forward pictures of both on request; please email me at: john dot o dot newell at comcast dot net for pics. (I will be away from the computer for most of Saturday and Sunday with family gatherings, so please be patient if you don't hear from me e-mmediately.) Price for camera and lens together is $585 shipped ground/insured to the lower 48. Separately, I also have the correct hood for the 50mm lens, Ex+, $45 if with above or add $3.50 if shipped separately. Seller feedback at The Auction Site That Shall Not Be Named is available on request.
