Subject: [Leica] A digital sensor is just another type of film

Brett was nuts to burn his negatives.... If he wanted, he could have had his
negatives sent to a University ( or other) , with the stipulation that they
never be printed. He did get a lot of publicity for his actions, which may
have been his only intent.

Ansel sent his negatives off for others to use and study.... but his wishes
were not followed... no one got to print his stuff to learn from.

Brett Weston had to destroy his negatives to maintain the value of his
prints. It was the only way he could assure the buyer of the one of a kind
value of
his acquisition.
