That is worth several hundred dollars in aggravation when an E### item is not as advertised. I would suggest the new Zeiss 50mm instead of the Summicron as it is less money and will focus closer. I would trade some of that newness for a slightly more used 35 Summilux ASPH which can be found in the 1500 to 1600 range: there is no substitute for 1.4 when you need that aperture. 0.02 Don don.dory@gmail.com On 7/16/05, Michael J Herring <creativevisions@verizon.net> wrote: > Hello fellow LUGERS, > > I have been offered the following items in as new condition: > > 35mm f2 Summicon ASPH - $1600 > 50mm f2 Summicron Black - $850 > 90mm f2 Summicron APO ASPH - $1600 > > Are these decent prices? > > I have had these in my hand and they are in virtually BRAND NEW CONDITION. > > Many thanks, > > Mike > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
