Only true if they are NOT encountering actual production problems! e.g. 
what's the cause of the delay? What if it is because CV cannot produce the 
camera bodies at their spec?

I have an Epson R-D1, and I can tell you that the rangefinder is no where 
near as good as the Leica's. May be it is just damned difficult to make a 
high quality, long baselength rangefinder. I don't know.
